what are irls/fiction kins?

irls are people who believe they are a specific character in real life. Fiction kins, on the other hand, are individuals who feel a strong connection to a particular character, whether it’s due to their backstory, personality, or even appearance.

What to not say to an irl/fiction kin?

- "You're not (one of their irl/fiction kin)!" - This can be very triggering for someone, so please avoid saying that!
- "I'm literally (one of their irl/fiction kin)!" - From my experience, this doesn’t affect me much, but be mindful when saying things like this, as it can make others feel uncomfortable.

more info about that topic! (from my own experience)

As an irl/fiction kin, I want to share my experience of being one. Keep in mind that each individual's experience can differ, so another irl/fiction kin may have a different experience from mine.
First of all, I do not have memories of being a specific character, but that doesn't mean I am not them. Not everyone has memories from their other life, and I'm one of those people, even though it would be pretty cool to have them. Second, I believe in the multiverse and the idea that I am the character in another universe. For my fiction kins, I feel a connection to them that they are different versions of myself in alternate realities. As for my irls, I feel like I am literally them, just in a different body.
Lastly, I do not think that I am them in their own universe. I am a different individual from another universe, and they are from theirs; we are the same person but different versions of each other. That's why whenever I talk about them, I do not refer to myself but to them.
